Word(s) of the day

SCANTILY CLAD

One of my favorite things to say is “scantily clad.” I would gladly add it to any sentence of mine, even when entirely inappropriate. “Nana, you cannot leave the house like that, you are scantily clad! Put my tube top back where you found it! And that is not a bracelet, that’s a thong!”

According to dictionary.com…

scantily clad- inadequately clothed

According to urbandictionary.com…

scantily clad- dressed like a skank

I dare each and every one of you (I think there are 14 of you…not joking, but I adore you all!) to use “scantily clad” thrice today. I double dog dare you.

What are your favorite things to say? DON’T HOLD BACK.

( Y )     …that’s a butt, and my official new sign-off…

( . Y . ) and those are boobs, or a butt with freckles on each cheek

I don’t have any word that I always say. I tried saying “lovely wonderful” whenever someone was telling me something that I didn’t care about, but it never caught onto the sarcasm so I stopped.

Oh wow, you have mastered the art of symbol drawings! That is amazing (it could be a butt with dimples). I think ‘lovely wonderful’ is a good alternative to the usual “good story,” which is so generic. I used to say “wow, you should write that down,” but ya know, I wish I knew ‘lovely wonderful.” 🙂

Congratulations! You have been the recipient of a Liebster Award (I know, clean the shit out of your pants right now). See my blog for more details.

That is the best present I’ve ever gotten!! I am indebted to you! And as per my culture I will give you my first born son. There’s no getting out of it. Thanks, mooselicker!!

You earned it! I promise my best to not turn Baby Boy Woo into a sex slave. Just a generic one.

random thought: watch the old british show “Coupling” (like the American “Friends” but about sex and laughter…. and not as odd as it sounds as I had to prove to 7 ppl last night)… the reason i bring this up is similar to your Scantily Clad, the show said “if a woman says Naked three times, a man has to cross his legs”. somehow i see a connection between these

    or i’m crazy

    it happens.. it is Tuesday

I love “Coupling” and I’ve seen that episode, though it’s been a while! I totally see the connection, dude. I sometimes say the word naked in inappropriate settings just to cause a stir. I live a dangerous sort of life:)
